Things to do in Naperville

It’s time to celebrate spring in Naperville! At 5th Avenue Construction, we’ve been waiting for warm weather and it has finally arrived. We hope you and your family are going to be out and about enjoying the sunshine as well as participating in area activities near your 5th Avenue custom built home. Take a look at some of the fun events happening around Naperville this spring and gather the whole family together to enjoy your neighborhood!

Naperville Events

Naperville Bites and Sites Food Tours

When: May 24 & 25 at 11:30 a.m.

Where: Near 5th Avenue Train Station

Cost: $43 for an adult ticket

About: Find out where to find Naperville’s most delicious restaurants on the Bites and Sites Food Tour. Your guide will take you to seven of the city’s best spots for grub in the historic downtown. Come with an appetite! You won’t want to miss this fun event right outside your 5th Avenue home. Best of all, you’ll be walking almost 2 miles throughout the tour–a great way to get some exercise while exploring.

Under the Stars & Stripes Camp Out

When: June 13 at 5:00 p.m.

Where: 523 S. Webster St.

Cost: $30 for adults, $25 for kids, $12 four years and under

About: Take advantage of a (hopefully) warm night in June to go camping with the whole family. Best of all? It’s not far from your Naperville home! Under the Stars & Stripes Camp Out is hosted by Naper Settlement. Families will get to enjoy a catered dinner, camping games and roasted marshmallows. In the morning, the Naper Settlement will take campers to see historic buildings before they open to the public. This is a great event for history buffs or families looking to learn more about Naperville before building or buying a home with 5th Avenue Construction.

Naperville Bicycle Club

Where: Various locations around Naperville

Cost: $20 a year (renewable) for adults and $25 for families (renewable)

Looking for a way to meet people, explore Naperville and it’s surrounding areas and get fit at the same time? The Naperville Bicycle Club is the perfect activity for you. A community club dedicated to social riding, the Naperville Bicycle club gets area riders together a few days a week for some long (and short) rides. Even if you live in one of our neighboring communities, like the Glens of Connemara or The Preserve at Cardinal Creek, you can still participate in the rides. The Naperville Bicycle Club has members from other cities and even states!
